Have you ever wondered why hostility in today's world are so rife, why jealousy run rampant and why we are surrounded by cruelty? Have you ever questioned why many marriages do not last, why nations fight with each other, why there are gangs killing children, what are the reasons of so many dysfunctional and broken families, why the crimes rates increasing in all countries of the world, why most countries are struggling to balance their economies and so on. The answers to these questions the author found out are due to a lack of self worth, self esteem, self confidence and trust in oneself and in our innate abilities to achieve our God given purposes in this life. When we are gripped with fear, we resort to all sorts of actions to protect ourselves even if that means destroying others and ourselves along the way. When we have faith and trust we flow with the current of life, we do not fight against the current.
Asha Emamdee recently launched her independently published book for children and adults, Minousha and the Dancing Water. It is a tale of good fighting evil. The story will keep both adults and youngsters riveted. The story is based on the author's own personal observations of how all the hostilities began in her family. It was the hostility that led to all the severe problems her family and herself were to face.
Asha’s dedication is to bettering her life. Her determination led her to receive a number of prestigious bursaries, sponsorships and awards to study law. She supports a number of charities and does a great deal of charitable work.
Minousha and the Dancing Water is based on a true story and inspired by factual events that happened in her life. She observed how her family and people around her often behave cruelly. Now looking back with an adult pair of eyes, she understood that their lack of self-esteem and self-confidence were the reasons for all the hostility in their lives. She looked back towards those who hurt her and her families with compassion and gratitude 'for they know not what they were doing!' She forgave them all.
Her parents and siblings when they were growing up were often subjected to cruelty. She often felt the protection of the Divine hands holding her family and the Divine gaze watching over them when all human beings turned their back on her family. It is a book in which the Devil fights the Good. The Devil had an agenda but God had a better plan for Asha and her family. Asha looked at the beginning of all the hostilities that began in her family in this first book. “Evil may seem to be winning when we are in the middle of pain. In the end good deeds and the truth always win. God acts in mysterious ways. When we are in pain we do not see his mysteries we only see the mists but behind the mists God is working his magic moulding us!” says Asha.
